MGM Room Block Rate and Availability

The Sharing Conference room block is closed. Room reservations now are on a space-available basis at the hotel’s prevailing rate. If you are attending the Sharing Conference and still need to book a room, please call (914) 747-1400 for assistance.


MGM National Harbor Cancellation Policy: Please cancel 72 hours prior to arrival for a full refund of the first night’s room and tax. Reservations canceled within 72 hours of arrival are subject to a penalty of the first night’s room and tax.



Conference Schedule

Conference events begin at 1:30pm on Monday, October 15 and run through 3pm on Wednesday, October 17th. We encourage you to consult the conference agenda when making your travel plans so you don't miss anything; it will be updated often as scheduling details are finalized.




There are three airports in the nearby area. Reagan National Airport is only 7 miles from the hotel, while Dulles International and Baltimore Washington International are 35 and 40 miles away, respectively.


Amtrak rail service is available to Washington's Union Station and from there it's a 10 mile ride to the hotel. Amtrak offers a 10% discount off the best available rail fare to Washington, DC between October 12, 2018 and October 20, 2018. To book your reservation, you must call Amtrak at 1 (800) 872-7245 or contact your local travel agent. This fare cannot be booked via the Internet.  Please be sure to refer to Convention Fare Code X27H-999 when making your reservation. This offer is not valid on the Auto Train and Acela Service. Fare is valid on Amtrak Regional for all departures seven days a week, except for holiday blackouts. Offer valid with Sleepers, Business Class or First Class seats with payment of the full applicable accommodation charges.

MGM National Harbor has two separate Valet arrival areas, each features designated guest drop-off locations.

Valet parking rates are $25 for up to 12 hours and $45 for 12-24 hours. Registered hotel guests will enjoy in and out privileges during their stay. Self-parking is complimentary and can be accessed at any of the five entrance points available on both the north and south sides of the resort. Self-parking areas have a gate-less entry system and do not require a ticket to enter or exit. MGM National Harbor has worked with Uber to provide convenient ride-sharing services with a designated pick-up and drop-off area on the hotel drive.

Check-In and Check-Out Times

Please note check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 11:00am. Luggage storage will be available on Wednesday since the conference doesn't end until 3:00pm.



Reservations and Travel Arrangements

Hotel reservations and travel arrangements are not included in the conference registration fee, and must be made separately. We encourage you to stay at the MGM National Harbor for the best service and accommodations while you are attending the conference and anytime you are visiting the Washington, DC area. You can also take advantage of the M life Rewards travel program and earn points for your stay during the conference. Membership in the program is free.



Conference Attire

Comfortable, business casual attire is recommended for all daily sessions and meal functions, except on Wednesday, October 17th when attendees will be invited to "Dress Down for Charity." Details will be posted here closer to the conference.




Average temperatures in October range between 70 for a high and lows in the 50s.
